Currently Squadron 42 is not for sale as of October 2024. Squadron 42 is currently feature complete and in the polish phase. When the game is finished it will be for sale again. In the meantime Star Citizen is playable and also under heavy development but can be purchased instead.

What Can I Play Now?
Squadron 42 comes with Arena Commander which has several game modes you can try now. Credits and badge rewards you earn in Arena Commander during the Alpha are permanent (not reset).
Where to add your referral code when purchasing Squadron 42

Is Squadron 42 Playable?
No. Squadron 42 is currently in late phases of development (the polish phase). This could take anywhere from months to a few years. SCFOCUS organization estimates completion around end of 2023 to mid 2024. Star Citizen is the multiplayer universe that is currently in Alpha testing.
Squadron 42 comes with Arena Commander which is currently playable though also in testing. If you buy a Squadron 42 account without Star Citizen you still have access to the online multiplayer instant action simulator called Arena Commander.
When will Star Citizen Release?
Star Citizen is not scheduled for release any year soon. There is currently no release date. Fan-Made estimates made by SCFOCUS place potential release beyond the year 2026 but could be closer to 2030.
When will Squadron 42 Release?
Squadron 42 is now feature complete and our estimates are for release around 2024 to 2025. 2026 or beyond.
Can I Play Squadron 42 Solo?
Yes. Squadron 42 is a single player game only.
